Scholar Rescue Fund (SRF) Executive Director Jim Miller responds to questions posed by the on-line magazine America.gov.  Miller highlights the widespread –- yet underreported—attacks on scholars worldwide and discusses the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) historic and current response to this global concern.

In The Jordan Times, SRF Board Member HRH Princess Ghida Talal, describes the systematic killing of Iraqi professors “for committing the crime of continuing to teach and research and educate”.  In response, SRF is placing threatened Iraqi professors at academic institutions in Jordan and throughout the Middle East to return them to safe and productive academic work.

Dr. Henry Kaufman, with the Institute for International Education, is helping to save foreign scholars from persecution.
