Tony Milbank

Tony Milbank is a Senior Financial Executive and Portfolio Manager for several non-profit endowments and foundations. In the past as the manager of international departments at both Salomon and Lehman, he served as advisor to central banks on financial risk management. Mr. Milbank has extensive direct experience with fixed income, equities, real estate and alternatives as part of a dynamic asset allocation process to protect endowment assets while preserving the purchasing power of those assets.

Mr. Milbank is currently the Chair of the Board of the Milbank Memorial Fund, a healthcare policy foundation. He is Treasurer of the Memton Fund, a grant making foundation. Until recently, he was the Treasurer of the International Center of Photography, an internationally recognized center for photographic education and exhibitions. He serves on investment committees of two churches, a college, a cemetery, an arts museum and a club’s pension fund and endowment. He was the past Treasurer and ultimately the President of the Union Club of the City of New York. Mr. Milbank’s former professional positions include Managing Director at Milbank Roy & Co. LLC, Managing Director at the Zanett Group, Senior Vice President/ Global Sales Manager of Lehman Brothers Inc., and Director of Fixed Income Sales at Salomon Brothers INC.

Mr. Milbank was graduated from Columbia University and completed his MBA at The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Mr. Milbank authored a “white paper” on endowment investment management which addressed the criteria for manager selection emphasizing the importance of choosing managers who are value added in all market environments and not wedded to benchmarks.
